Connect Claude to Rytmia

Rytmia has an MCP server, which lets an AI assistant such as Claude read your Rytmia data while you chat with it. Once it is connected, you can ask Claude things like What’s on today?, Who else is on the Acme job tomorrow? or When are we next at Acme?, and Claude looks the answer up in Rytmia instead of guessing.

You add the connection once, on the Claude website. After that it works in Claude on the web, in the Claude desktop app and in the Claude mobile app, because all three use the same Claude account.

What Claude can and cannot do

The connection is read-only. Claude can answer questions about your work, but every change still happens in Rytmia.

Claude sees exactly what you see. An office user with access to the whole schedule gets the whole organization’s day. A field worker gets the visits they are assigned to, and no client records. If Claude says it found nothing, that means nothing you can see, not that nothing exists.

What you need

• A Rytmia account. You sign in with your phone number, the same way as in the Rytmia app.
• A Claude account. If you use Claude through a Team or Enterprise plan at work, an owner of that plan may have to add the connector before you can use it.

Connect on the Claude website

1. Sign in at claude.ai.

2. In the chat box, choose +, then Connectors → Add connector → Add custom connector.

   You can also start from Settings → Connectors: choose Add, then Add custom connector. The form is the same.

3. Under Name, enter Rytmia. Under MCP server URL, enter this address:

   https://api.rytmia.app/mcp
   

4. Choose Continue. A Rytmia sign-in page opens.

5. Enter your phone number and the code you receive by text message.

6. Read the Allow access page and choose Allow.

You are sent back to Claude, and Rytmia shows in the Connectors menu with its switch turned on.

What the Allow access page tells you

Before you allow anything, Rytmia shows who is asking and what they get. Check that it says Claude is asking and that you will be sent back to claude.ai. If the page names something you did not ask for, choose Deny.

The access covers every organization you belong to in Rytmia, including organizations you join later. In each one, Claude has the same role you have there, and nothing more.

Use it in a chat

Start a new chat and ask about your work. If Claude does not look in Rytmia, choose + in the chat box, open Connectors and check that the switch next to Rytmia is on.

A few things to ask:

• What am I doing tomorrow?
• Who else is on the Tuesday morning visit, and what’s their number?
• What’s the address of the Acme job, and who do I call when I get there?
• How much have we invoiced Acme this month?

If you belong to more than one organization, say which one you mean, or Claude will ask. Claude repeats the organization and the dates it used in its answer, so check that they are the ones you meant.

Desktop and mobile

You do not need to set anything up again. Open the Claude desktop app or the Claude mobile app, signed in to the same Claude account, and Rytmia is already in your list of connectors.

Disconnect

In Claude, open Settings → Connectors. From the chat box you get there with + → Connectors → Manage connectors. Open Rytmia and disconnect or remove it. Claude loses access to Rytmia on the web, on desktop and on mobile at the same time.

If you delete your Rytmia account or leave an organization, Claude loses access to it too. Access always follows what your own account can reach.
